Alina Schnake-Mahl

Project Manager and Curriculum Development Specialist co-leading Participatory Action Research project in Central Brooklyn focused on building health equity. Additionally Doctoral Candidate at Harvard Chan School of Public Health, interested in research on the effects of place, population movement and dynamics, community and economic development, and how these conditions affect health care access and health disparities. Doctoral dissertation is on suburban poverty and effects for health insurance coverage and healthcare access, and how gentrification impacts community health.
