ABOUT THE PRIZE:
Harvard faculty from across the university are invited to nominate student-authored papers that contribute to the understanding of, or practical improvements to, housing and urban topics broadly defined. The Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies will recognize excellence in graduate level research on housing, by awarding the JCHS Best Paper on Housing prize on an annual basis.
Prize-winning authors can have their work featured on the Joint Center's blog and website. They also can submit their paper for possible publication as a Joint Center working paper.
Open to graduate students at HKS and GSD, but papers must be submitted by a sponsoring faculty member. The papers submitted must have been written within the 2016-2017 academic year.
Faculty members are asked to nominate projects that advance the field of housing studies. Send nominations to email@example.com. A short email will suffice, with papers attached in PDF. Submissions should be double-spaced, in a single-sided format with the author, faculty nominator, and contact information included on the cover page. Each faculty sponsor should submit no more than one outstanding student paper.
Nominations must be submitted by May 12, 2017.
