Over the past few decades, the City of Atlanta and local non-profits have developed a variety of cross-sector partnerships to address some of the city’s most pressing issues. The City worked with a range of partners on the Olympics to ensure the Olympic facilities would continue to serve the Atlanta community once the Games concluded. The Atlanta Housing Authority worked with private developers to change the face of affordable housing in the city. Purpose Built Communities leveraged education partnerships to help revitalize the neighborhood of East Lake. Panelists will describe some of these notable initiatives and the lessons they have drawn from them.
