How Cities Can Promote Equity and Inclusion by Adopting Comprehensive Local Housing Strategies

Jeffrey Lubell, the Director of Housing and Community Initiatives at Abt Associates, is a creative and outspoken thought leader, who has expanded awareness of the important role of housing in advancing key societal outcomes such as health, education, economic development, and environmental sustainability. Prior to joining Abt, he served as Executive Director of the non-profit Center for Housing Policy and Director of the Policy Development Division in HUD's Office of Policy Development and Research. He currently conducts research, analyzes policy and provides technical assistance on a range of topics related to affordable housing, financial capability and community development.  He is a graduate of Harvard Law School (1993) and Harvard College (1990).
